Wednesday morning’s Show Up event in Taylor Park was led by Rhonda Somers-Fletcher! There were almost 30 people there from the community ready to work out and be healthy together! Rhonda had the group working their way around the entire park. She created 10 different stations with a huge variety of exercises to strengthen the entire body and work on our cardio! I found myself doing push-ups on the benches around the fountain, steps up on the gazebo and walking lunges in one of the walking paths. It allowed everyone to work at their own pace and spread out around beautiful Taylor Park.

Rhonda is a dedicated instructor focused on full-body workouts. She currently teaches at Duke’s Fitness Center and Collins Perley! She loves figure skating, traveling, and anything fitness oriented. When asked how long she’s been into fitness, Rhonda says she’s “always exercised since I was a little kid by participating in track and field, soccer, volleyball, figure skating, skiing, and swimming.”

Rhonda also brought information on her employer, the Champlain Valley Agency on Aging.  Since 1974, CVAA has been providing nutrition and supportive services to seniors. They provide:
