It’s Monday morning…I wake up get ready for the day…work for 8 hours…go to the gym for 30 minutes… come home and prepare dinner. Yep, almost everyone has a schedule even if their day to day seems chaotic and unorganized. Except today we’re focusing on the activities that you’ve wanted to do for a long time or a new activity you’d like to explore. A change or bump the original plan keeps things fresh in life.

Fresh…hmmm, a very relative word indeed. Sit there; find your passion, your interest, your favorite hobby. These activities can be related to physical activity but they certainly aren’t limiting. Now that activity (maybe it’s more than one) needs to be a priority for you. For example to put things in perspective I enjoy snowboarding during the winter and it allows me to explore a passion of mind as well as refreshing for my mind.

So, whatever your ‘item’ is next you need to begin brainstorming how you will add it into your schedule. This process may seem daunting but this is actually the hardest part, finding a manageable way to approach your interest. With this step accomplishing (and it doesn’t need to be done in a single sitting) you’re well on your way to achieving a fresh activity in your daily routine.

Stay tuned for our next blog that talks about putting your plan into fruition and allowing yourself to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
